Dear readers,

After a successful kick-off of QUANTUM in February, we are now glad to provide you with this very first newsletter of the project. In this newsletter, you will receive regular updates on the project’s activities and outcomes, as well as interesting news, events and publications from QUANTUM but also from other initiatives related to the topic of Data Quality, health data, and the European Health Data Space. Regarding the EHDS, the recent adoption of the regulation proposal by the European Parliament reinforce our commitment to contribute to the EHDS, and especially to its requirement (article 56) of labelling health datasets within the EU to show their quality and usefulness, with the goal to promote transparency and trust in health data sharing across Europe for secondary purposes, benefiting research, innovation, and the healthcare systems as a whole.
